Valerie
holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Loma Linda University,
graduating in 1986, and has been involved in Insurance since 1985.
Prior to joining Clark & Associates in 1993,
she was Medical Supervisor of Employee Benefits for United Parcel Service
in the East Bay of Northern California, serving over 5,000 employees.
From 1990 to 1992 her focus was in the Workers Compensation arena
as a Senior Medical Case Manager for both Liberty Mutual Insurance and
Continental Insurance Companies.
Prior to this, Valerie's background was in Nursing, with a focus on
the health care delivery system.
Valerie
has built a strong clientele since joining Clark & Associates.
She consults with employers of all sizes in every aspect of
Employee Benefits. She
has taken numerous continuing education classes and holds the Life
Underwriters Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) and Registered Health
Underwriter (RHU) designations.
Valerie
has been a guest speaker for various organizations, has served on Advisory
Councils and Boards, and has consulted with Associations regarding many
aspects of Employee Benefits.
